Our client in the investment management sector is seeking a Senior Research Analyst - Mining & Beneficiation to provide specialist research, financial analysis, and investment insights in support of mining investment opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification in Mining Engineering, Geology, Mineral Economics, Finance, Investment Management, Commerce, Economics, or related field.

• 4-6 years' experience in:

  • Mining investment analysis

  • Mining equity research

  • Mining corporate finance

  • Mining project evaluation

  • Mining and exploration due diligence

• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.

• Sound understanding of commodity markets and mining economics.

• Experience in investment research and financial analysis.

• Bloomberg experience advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mining sector and commodity market research.

• Evaluate mining companies and exploration projects.

• Perform technical, commercial, and investment due diligence.

• Review mining financial models and valuations.

• Support investment teams with transaction evaluations and investment recommendations.
